We ran down to Salt Lake for the weekend. It was a terrible drive. Starting at 8pm, a crying baby and Utah night construction didn't help. We made it though. We would have waited until morning however Kalissa and Anna were surprised with getting to see The Sound of Music early Saturday morning; which they LOVED!
Everyone had a blast for the short time we were there. Uncle Chris and Aunt Amy rented a bounce house/water slide for the day and all the kids LOVED it; well Amree didn't like it too much but she tried it.
We played in the water and ate popsicles.
Amree had a hard time and didn't want to be loved or held by many. Besides me, only Uncle Chris could make her happy. I was grateful for those few short moments.
We ate yummy food and played with our cousins.
Uncle Michael and Aunt Julie's kids made the cutest beehive piñata that we all were excited to hit, and even more excited to gather all the candy.
We lit fireworks at the school and chased our favorite, Sky Spiders and parachutes as they fell from the sky.
Kalissa and Elsie gave bus rides
We also were there for the blessing of this newest sweet baby boy.
Grandpa and Preston, only a few 98 years apart.
Although the mountains are equally amazing in Idaho, I miss this
view from my parents home.

Cute! I didn't see Anna take Amree down the slide. I'm sure she wasn't too thrilled. :)
