First Day of School

Kalissa started school today. I can't believe she is in the 2nd grade! She was very nervous and wouldn't eat anything because she said she was going to throw-up. She was better once she got to school. We left Anna crying in the driveway. She is going to miss her alot this year. I even got a little teary saying goodbye.

Lagoon

We celebrated our 9th anniversary at Lagoon. It was the girls first time going. Kalissa was really brave and rode the Colossus with me. She LOVED the regular old white RollerCoaster. Anna loved the rides too but only got to ride the kiddy ones for the most part. My new favorite ride was Wicked. What a rush!!!!! There are so many more rides now than there was 15 years ago.

Anna, Kalissa, Me, My Mom and Andrew on the Log Ride.

Jaina was a good sport. She spent a lot of time in the stroller. She rode on the Merry-go-Round which she didn't like but loved the train. Next time she'll be able to do more.

Playin' at the park

We also fed the ducks all of our old cereal. Jaina was amused by all them. Kalissa threw a little out and Anna wouldn't even go close becuase she was afraid they would bite her.

Grand Marshal's

Daniel's parents were asked to be one of five couples that would serve as the Grand Marshal's for the Madison Centennial County Fair. They choose couples that had lived in the area for a long time and were farmers that served the community. It was fun to see them in the parade.

F.H.E.

We took advantage of BYUI being out for the summer break and walked around the gardens. The girls loved all the waterfalls and flowers. It is so beautiful up there right now!

The girls sitting in the tree where we had our engagement picture taken almost 9 years ago.

I even got a picture of a humming bird by some beautiful Crocosmia. These flowers are great for attracting humming birds however they are not winter-hardy up here.

We also went in and looked at the animals. They have some really neat dead/stuffed animals. Jaina liked the lion.

The funniest thing...while we were walking through one of the buildings there was this "thing" on the wall. Kalissa asked what it was, as you can see it is a pencil sharpener. Things are sure different now then when I was her age.
