Yellowstone and Grand Teton

Grandpa and Grandma and Becka and Jared and their kids came up to visit us and go to Yellowstone.  If was rainy and cold but we had a good time.
Our first stop was Big Springs to feed the fish.  Unfortunately there weren't any fish.  This is the first year we didn't see any.  There were lots of seagulls that we fed though.

Anna at Big Springs.  It is so beautiful there.

There were so many in Yellowstone that day!  It felt a little like Disney crowds.  We had a hard time finding places to park everywhere we stopped.

We finally saw some blue sky at Old Faithful.

On the way home we stopped at Mesa Falls.  We were lucky to stop and leave just before a lot of rain.

On Monday we went up to Grand Teton.  It was a beautiful day!

We took the ferry across Jenny Lake.  The kids were so excited about it.

On the way up to Hidden Falls.  The kids did a great job hiking up the mountain.  There were a few steep places but even Amree and Preston did most of it by themselves.

The falls were so bright it was hard to get a good picture

Waiting for the ferry to take us back.

The kids had fun playing in the lake and getting their feet wet.

Amree didn't want to get wet so she threw rocks in the lake.

We stopped in Jackson on the way back.  We watched the shoot-out, walked around the town  square, took some pictures with some statues and headed back to Rexburg.

Lusk Family Reunion

We had the Lusk reunion on July 31 and August 1.  We had so much fun working, playing and being with our large family.

After dinner and a movie we slept out in tents at Grandma's house.

Amree was nice and warm in there.

For our project we cut, chopped and stacked  A LOT of wood for Grandma.
Amree just supervising the work.

Uncle Rodney and Uncle Sam cutting up the logs.

Uncle Mike, Uncle Kenneth and Daniel

The younger kids had fun just being together.

Almost done. Everyone worked so hard on the long hot day.

3 pretty amazing wood stackers.  Jodi, Kalissa and Sarah.

After all the hard work in the sun everyone went an played on a fun water slide.

The Lee Family

We sure love and miss the Lee family.  They lived by us in Rexburg years ago before they moved to Salt Lake.  They came and played with us at the park while they were in town visiting.  We sure wish they lived closer.

24th of July

We were back in Utah on the 24th July to see Matthew and his family and also to be there for Rylan's and Gracie's baptisms.

Waiting for Uncle Michael to shoot the candy cannon.

Kalissa, Elisabeth and Elsie showing off their sky spiders.
Grandma took us to a fun new park by her house.  The kids all loved it!  I'm sure they'll want to go every time we go to Salt Lake now.

Elisabeth and Kalissa swinging together.

It took a lot of kids to get Uncle Lorin up on the teter-totter.

Gracie and Rylan before their baptisms.
