Fern

Today was the last day of the reading month at Kalissa's school. Each class picked a book and decorated a float (wagon) and got to dress up like a someone from the book. Kalissa's class did Charlotte's Web. She wanted to be Fern. We borrowed a button up shirt and braided her hair. ( You know, cause that's all it takes to become a girl on a farm.) She was sooooo excited. But a little embarrased when I took her picture at school.

Marriage at 26?

A funny conversation:

Kalissa: "Mom, when will you be a Grandma?"

Me: "When you, Anna or Jaina have kids"

K: "Well I'm going to have kids first because I'm older."

Me: "Maybe they will get married and have kids before you."

K: "I'm getting married when I'm 26."

Me: "Why 26?"

K: "Becuase that's what Dad said."

It was pretty funny. She was very serious about listening to her Dad. I wonder if she will remember that as she gets older.

Our Weekend

Our Movie Star.
She sure thought she was funny.

Playing dolls with Grandma Lusk

Trying to help Mother Nature. We shoveled snow onto the driveway to help it melt. We are ready for SPRING!!!!! We did find a couple pansy's up next to the house that are ready to bloom. That was exciting.

Playing with Marina. It was a fun surprise to have her stay with us Friday night.

Las Vegas

We went to Vegas this week with my work. Jaina came with us. She did very well on the plane. She looked out the window a little and slept most of the way.

Waving "Hello" she did this to EVERYONE!!!!!

This was one of my favorite things we saw. It is amazing what can be done with water.

Jaina watching the fountains at the Bellagio.

On top of the Stratosphere. Riding on top of the Stratosphere. That was high!

Plane ride home. Again pretty happy and fell asleep during take off. Slept until the captain came on announcing the descent. We were sure lucky she did so well.

Mom kept Kalissa and Anna. Which was so great! And Rebecca had them on Wednesday. Thanks for all the help!!!!! And Happy Birthday.
