Halloween 2015

Jaina was the only one in a school parade this year.

We ended up with a Gnome, Cinderella, Princess Leia, and a Cat

Crazy Hair Day

Anna's bun mohawk for Crazy Hair Day

Apparently there were a lot of mohawks that day, but hers was probably the best.  ;)

That is a lot of hair.

Amree Turned 4!

This smart, funky, fun, energetic, caring little girl is growing up! We sure love her so much!  She is such a special part of our family. Most days I just can't get enough of her.  Kisses and hugs are a must, all the time.  She loves to play anything with her sisters, and any and all games in the house.  She likes to write her name (with a curly r), the alphabet and numbers.  One of her favorite things is to do homework like the older girls.  She really likes pre-school and wishes she could go everyday.  There is NEVER a dull moment with her.

Amree decided that she wanted a rainbow birthday cake.  She was a great helper to mix all the colors.  She REALLY knows the colors of a rainbow and will sing the rainbow song whenever asked.

The big day was on a Sunday this year.  She was excited to have her hair curled, which I don't do very often.

It was also the same day as her first Primary program. She had her part memorized but got a little nervous at the last minute. She didn't say it by herself but was still excited to talk in the microphone.

For her birthday dinner she choose tomato soup, grilled cheese and corn chips.

Very excited about her Elsa helmet.

This sweet little girl was sad that her big present was a bike and not a play kitchen for her sisters to have.

We had cake and ice cream at Grandma's house with Grandma and Sam and Kim's kids.

In the end she decided she liked her bike.

New School Year

It's hard to believe that it is time for the start of another school year. Although the girls won't admit it, they were ready to be back in school.  Summer gets a little long at the end.

Kalissa is in 8th, Annalin in 5th and Jaina in 2nd.  They are all at different schools which makes for fun at registration and Parent Teacher Conference nights.

Annalin and Kalissa get to take the bus.
Anna and her friends were pretty excited to start their first year at a new school!

Amree was soooo excited when her sisters started coming home from school.  She walked over to the school with  me to get Jaina the first day and was just a little jealous that it was not her turn to go to school.

Today, a week later, was the day for Amree to start Preschool!
She was so excited to go to school like her sisters.

It is very exciting to get to have a backpack.

When it was time to go into class she just went.  No tears, no hugging to my leg, she just left me.  I'm glad that she is so brave and likes to do new things but it sure makes me sad that she is growing up.

Yellowstone and Grand Teton

Grandpa and Grandma and Becka and Jared and their kids came up to visit us and go to Yellowstone.  If was rainy and cold but we had a good time.
Our first stop was Big Springs to feed the fish.  Unfortunately there weren't any fish.  This is the first year we didn't see any.  There were lots of seagulls that we fed though.

Anna at Big Springs.  It is so beautiful there.

There were so many in Yellowstone that day!  It felt a little like Disney crowds.  We had a hard time finding places to park everywhere we stopped.

We finally saw some blue sky at Old Faithful.

On the way home we stopped at Mesa Falls.  We were lucky to stop and leave just before a lot of rain.

On Monday we went up to Grand Teton.  It was a beautiful day!

We took the ferry across Jenny Lake.  The kids were so excited about it.

On the way up to Hidden Falls.  The kids did a great job hiking up the mountain.  There were a few steep places but even Amree and Preston did most of it by themselves.

The falls were so bright it was hard to get a good picture

Waiting for the ferry to take us back.

The kids had fun playing in the lake and getting their feet wet.

Amree didn't want to get wet so she threw rocks in the lake.

We stopped in Jackson on the way back.  We watched the shoot-out, walked around the town  square, took some pictures with some statues and headed back to Rexburg.
