Thanksgiving
We had a great Thanksgiving. Ate great food, played with LOTS of cousins and other family members, stayed warm in the cold weather, realized just how lucky we are to have jobs, a home, clothes, food, that we get to go to school and learn, that we have the gospel and amazing knowledge at our fingertips and so many other things.
Hope yours was great too!

Broken Turkey
Grandma cooked us a turkey while she was here last week. My girls have never broken the wish bone before and were very excited to learn about it. A magical bone that grants wishes!
Last night they asked if it was dry enough to break. And so they did!
Kalissa didn't win but was suprisingly okay with it.
Anna did but was upset. In her words:
Me: "You won. Anna! Did you make a wish?"
Anna: "I did but the bone is broken."
Me: "Why is it broken?"
Anna: "Because I still can't fly."

A Purple Blanket
I finally finished the bedspread/quilt I have been making for Anna. It seems to take me forever to finish projects. (That whole time thing and never having enough of it.) But I think it turned out well.

A Fun Week
Grandma came and stayed a whole week with us! We were so lucky. It was SOOOOOO nice to have her here.
She played games, read to us, gave us lots of good things to eat, cooked for us, folded laundry, took and picked kids up from school, watched movies with us, did our hair, came to our dance classes and lots more. We were spoiled! We sure miss her!
