Quick Visit - Long Drive

We went to St. George this weekend to visit Daniel's brother. It was such a long drive but we had a lot of fun! Drove down Saturday and back Monday. The girls loved playing with their cousins and seeing new things.

I didn't take their bathing suits becuase I didn't think we would have time to play during the day. But I forgot it would still be hot at night. These were taken after 8pm and it was plenty warm. They borrowed suits from thier cousins. Anna got to wear a dance outfit and she LOVED it!

Jaina just crawled around in her diaper which I think weighed 10 lbs when she was done. She liked the water too.

Sunday before church we went by the temple. It is so pretty. It was fun for the girls to get to see it.

We saw "Red" mountains. About Cedar City Anna announced that the mountains were red and that was a pretty exciting thing to see. Colored mountains everywhere!

Making beaded necklaces with more cousins. We spent Sunday afternoon in Arizona with Patti and her family. It was fun to be there again, it's been about 13 years since the last visit.

1 year old! She wouldn't ever really smile but I still think they are all so cute! Thanks for the outfit Jamie!!!!

Work Party

We went to the Riot Zone for my Company Party. The girls love it. I just love when it is over. (Lots of work and worry being in charge of it.) I tried to get Kalissa to ride the go-carts but she wouldn't so they played on all the blow-up toys for hours and then we played miniture golf.

Anna spent most of this time in the stroller. She fell earlier and tore up her knee. We took care of it with 3 bandaids however, she still insisted it was broken and she couldn't walk on it. After about 10 holes and much coaxing we talked her in to getting up and hitting a ball.

Jaina loved the cookies! She was so good the entire time.

Afternoon Hail Storm

It hailed yesterday, along with the rain. The hail destroyed my hosta's. We only get so long to enjoy the plants and summer months here and this year it seems to have been cut back, ALOT.

Busy weekend

I ran in the Teton Dam 10K. My sister, her husband and my little brother came and ran it too. I didn't win (although becuase they gave me a medal my girls think I did) but I didn't come in last. I wanted to finish it in 1 hr 10min but it took me 1hr 18min. Rebecca was a good sport and stayed with me the whole time even though I'm sure she could have finished with a better time. Jared finished in like 45 mintues #9 (that's why his medal has an orange ribbon) and Andrew finished in 59 minutes.

Jaina got her rocking chair that was meant for her 1st birthday a month ago.
(Anna had to get hers out too. She now wants to trade.)

She doesn't seem to care very much but I was so excited when they cut the dirty, germ catcher off her arm. It was great to get to wash her hand. The x-ray was perfect and they said that it would be hard to tell that she ever broke it.

Hopefully it will be the only break we get to experience with her!

The Cake...

Anna wanted bubbles on it. Daniel said it looked like a colored deer left it's droppings on top.

She liked it and that was what mattered.
